Quota 2026

We distinguish between 4 different membership types in buildingSMART Norway, depending on annual turnover.

Small

For companies with a turnover of under 25 million kroner, the fee is 5,500 kroner per year.

Small

For companies with a turnover of under 25 million kroner, the fee is 5,500 kroner per year.

Standard

The fee is 33,000 kroner.

Large

For companies with a turnover of over 1 billion kroner, the fee is 131,000 kroner.

For companies with a turnover of over 1 billion kroner, the fee is 131,000 kroner.

Partnership

The fee is 325,000 kroner.

Members are by default standard with the exception of:

companies with a turnover over 1 billion that belong to the Large category
companies with a turnover under 25 million that belong to the Small category.

Partner can be companies that primarily belong to the categories Small, Standard, or Large. Partners can agree on benefits based on their needs. Benefits should not burden the administration or volunteers to an extent that it affects their primary tasks in the association. Benefits can include:

Meeting rights (without voting rights) in a specified number of board meetings each year.
The right to establish and facilitate a domain under the guidance of buildingSMART Norway and buildingSMART International.
Support for the implementation of openBIM in projects or companies from domains and/or administration within a previously agreed scope.

The membership structure allows projects to be members during the project period. For projects, size is calculated based on annual investment cost.
